Paratroopers could fly 200km with new wings systemParatroopers could fly 200km with new wings system: "A new military parachute system which fits wings on soldiers could enable them to travel to 200 kilometres (124 miles) after jumping, Jane's Defence Weekly defence magazine said Friday.
The system, which involves the development of new modular carbon-fibre wings, will mean that aircraft can drop parachutists from 30,000 feet (9,150 metres) into an area of operations without flying into a danger zone.
Trials of the modular wing are being developed by the German firm Elektroniksystem und Logistik and Draeger. They are due to finish by the end of 2006, with the entire parachute and wings combination expected to be available during 2007."

DJ Drummond and PoliPundit can, as Cartman would say it: ‘Suck Mah Balls’!
It seems that one of the co-bloggers DJ Drummond has a nasty habit of randomly deleting posts he doesn’t agree with. Not posts that were abusive or foul mouthed, just not in agreement with his ‘fellate-at-all-costs’ policy toward supporting the President, right or wrong.
W00T! This needs to get wider press. Although I bet the 76 illegal’s get released back into society. The Cincinnati Post - 80 arrested after probe: "Four supervisors for Fischer Homes were among 80 people arrested Tuesday as part of a two-year probe into the use of illegal immigrant workers in the home construction industry in Northern Kentucky.
The supervisors were charged with hiring illegal immigrants. The other 76 persons arrested were charged with being in the United States illegally."

Dog bites man, Saudi National in attempted infant molestation ring.Vallejo Times Herald - Home: "Federal agents arrested a Saudi Arabian tourist at a Vallejo motel Thursday night after he allegedly arranged online to molest an infant girl.
Nabil Al Rowais, 37, was arrested after he arrived for the visit with a man he thought was the 21 2-year-old girl's father, officials said Friday. The girl doesn't exist and the 'father' was really an undercover agent who corresponded with Rowais over e-mail."
