  Rolling in style

Lockwood man, sidekick, roam U.S. as Batman and Robin - billingsgazette.com: "n addition to making costumes, props and toys from the television show, Young makes Batmobiles. He began the venture with Bob Butts, the man who gave Young his first Batman job.

The cars have been featured in a Batman reunion movie and the film 'Rockstar,' but his favorite one would have to be his own. The 1966 Batmobile, built on top of a 1972 Lincoln Mark IV, comes complete with a Batphone, Bat-computer and even runs on a Bat-tery. Available for $75,000, the cars are built from a fiberglass mold of the original Batmobile.

Young convinced Butts to make kits of the car so they would be more affordable, at $16,999, and now 50-75 people around the country own them. Young was the first Batman impersonator, and for quite a while he was also the only one."

"I've never met anyone bad in the Batmobile," Young said.
