The Religion of Peaceful Co-Existence: Austrailian Church Burning Edition
The Austrailian populace being forcibly disarmed in the mid-nineties has shown signs of throwing off the shackles of shimnitude that bind western multi-culti societies, (ie the French).
This may become the next front in the clash...I guess civilizations is the wrong word. The proper term I guess is barbarians at the gate. Or an asp snuggled to it's bosom.
Whatever flowery metaphor you choose to assign; the muslims in Austrailia are showing the same penchant for assimilation and peaceful co-existence that they have shown in every other county unfortunate enough to have a large population of them.
This tit-for-tat in Austrailia is looking like it's going to spiral right out of control. Mass deportation and killings in the street out of control.
The French (true to form) chose to appease and cower before their muslim rioters.
The Aussie's are actually standing up and fighting back, it's been so long since I have seen a Western nation actually stand up for itself in the face of a 'victims' lobby rioting in the street.
It is going to be interesting to see if the Canberra government can get the two sides under control. I don't think they will any time soon. There will be more low level church burnings and minor localized terrorism from now on. Until that day that the Aussie's wash their hands of the lot of them. That or the muslims start to police themselves. However that seems unlikely to happen, there, here, or any other Western nation.
Only Victory will bring true peace.
Personally I don't know how many more years remain until we have world wide unrestrained warfare between the islamic world and the civilized western nations.
The Australian: Now churches are targeted [December 15, 2005]: "FOUR churches in Sydney's southwest have been attacked in 24 hours as the city's riots spread from race to religion.
A community hall linked to a Uniting church was burned to the ground early yesterday, carol-singers were spat on and church buildings peppered with gunfire.
In response, members of the Arab Christian and Arab Muslim communities have called for a curfew for all Lebanese youths over the weekend.
Police believe the attack on the hall, in the suburb of Auburn, was intended to destroy the Uniting church next door, while nearby StThomas's Anglican Church, which has a primarily Chinese congregation, had all its front windows smashed. Three of the attacks were on churches within minutes of each other. The night before, Molotov cocktails were used in an attack on an Anglican church in Macquarie Fields in the city's far southwest."
