Just in case you did not know, the RoP considers voting to be a Major Apostasy
Telegraph | News | Militants burst into Muslim election meeting: "Factions of the Muslim community clashed during a meeting in which voters were urged to cast their ballot on May.

Militants burst into a press conference organised by the Muslim Council of Britain, shouting abuse.

The group of 15 men, two of them masked, condemned the organisation as 'a mouthpiece' of Tony Blair and George W Bush, the US president.

The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) was unveiling a list of 10 questions for Muslim voters to ask parliamentary candidates during the meeting at Central London Mosque in Regents Park, London, when the men burst in.

One of them, who said they represented the Saviour Sect, shouted that voting in the general election was 'an act of apostasy'.

They handed out a leaflet which bore photographs of Tony Blair, and the main opposition leaders Michael Howard and Charles Kennedy, as well as George Galloway of Respect.

'The above are all shayaateen (devils), crooks, criminals and false gods,' it said.

'Voting for any political party which has a policy of legislating a law is Kufr Akbar (a major apostasy) and will take you outside the fold of Islam.

'It will also nullify all your good deeds and guarantee your seat in hellfire for ever.'

The meeting was suspended for up to 20 minutes."
