Once again, what happened to: "You are either with us or you are with the Terrorists"?
Why in the hell is Bush getting back into bed with the Spanish. Those crawfishing appeasement monkeys already showed the measure of their mettle when they tucked their johnsons up and turned tail and fled in the face of the enemy. And for what, Spain is still filthy with Islamic terrorists and terror plots. So what safety did the Spanish purchase for themselves by cowering in the face of the Islamic-supremacists?
And frankly after the many extremly anti-American statements of Zapatero and his cronies why is the US even giving them even the time of day?

Politics News Article | Reuters.com: "MADRID (Reuters) - The United States and Spain put aside strains in their relationship on Friday as they agreed to step up judicial cooperation in the fight against crime and terrorism.

Spain's Socialist Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero angered President Bush by ordering Spanish troops home from Iraq as soon as he took office in April.

The U.S. ambassador to Spain skipped Spain's national day parade in October because of a year-old slight by Zapatero and then Bush failed to return Zapatero's telephone call congratulating him on his re-election in November.

But it was all smiles on Friday as visiting U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft and Spanish Justice Minister Juan Fernando Lopez signed updated agreements on extradition and mutual legal assistance, under which nations share information that can help them bring suspects to trial.

Ashcroft, who has resigned but stays in office until his successor is confirmed, proved a model diplomat when asked if his visit marked a fresh start in the Bush administration's relations with Zapatero's government.

'We consider the relationship to be a sound working relationship which has been very productive,' Ashcroft told a news conference, referring to the two nations' efforts to combat terrorism."
