RINO's Seek to Derail Senate Majority
Jumpin Jim Jefford's was bad enough, now we have the rest of the NE Rino's making noises.
USATODAY.com - Sen. Chafee considers leaving GOP

PROVIDENCE (AP) — Republican Sen. Lincoln Chafee said he would consider switching parties if President Bush is re-elected.

"I'm not ruling it out," Chafee told The Providence Journal.

Chafee, known for moderate views that often run counter to the Bush administration, also said he cast a write-in vote for Bush's father, George H.W. Bush, in Tuesday's election. He said it was a "symbolic protest."

A little soul searching is in order here.

If he feels that he is not up to the task of the Extreme Right agenda, then it is only proper that he change.

A RINO or not, both parties are going further to the fringes of our society. There is plenty of middle ground left, and sadly, (or hopefully)those still rational in this country are being ignored -- maybe it is time for a true third party -- enough of the Red-neck and Blue-blood states.

I certainly hope that a dutiful Republican or Democrat would look to the people he or she represents and vote their wishes and needs, and not simply yield their common sense to Bush’s Extreme Right agenda.
